Anderson Cancer Center is preparing to lead a consortium of researchers from across the globe in the largest genetic study ever conducted on the causes and risk factors of adult and pediatric gliomas, or malignant primary brain tumors, with an $11 million award from the National Cancer Institute.

Research Foundation Establishes Headquarters in Napa, California
Establishing their headquarters in Napa is a homecoming of sorts
for the Tug McGraw Foundation, an organization formed in memory
of Phillies and Mets relief pitcher, Tug McGraw, by his son Tim
McGraw, and friend and caregiver Jennifer Brusstar. Tug was from
nearby Vallejo, California, and members of his extended family continue
to live in and around Napa.
