May 21, 2009 - Tim McGraw Steps Up to the Plate with ESPN's John Kruk for the Tug McGraw Foundation

On May 2nd, despite the rain, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, John Kruk, and youth baseball players Stepped Up to the Plate for the Tug McGraw Foundation. Brad Warren of the Warren Brothers and chair of the tournament, described the event as no longer a baseball tournament, but a "swim meet!" Players, coaches, and families, including country singer Keith Anderson helped make lemonade out of lemons by moving the rained out tournament from Nashville's Music City Fields to Franklin's Showtime Sports Academy. There teams barbequed, played games, danced with both Gnash and Ozzie from the Predators and the Nashville Sounds. The teams then took to the indoor field and sat down for a Q&A with Tim, Faith, John Kruk and young brain tumor survivor Miss Mackenzie.
